Salford Local History Forum is an independent umbrella organisation for societies in Salford which support local history and heritage.

It acts as a forum for interchange of information, ideas and initiatives. It also organises the Frank Mullineux award for the greatest contribution to the study of Salford’s local history.

Membership is £10 per annum and the finances of the Forum are managed by the Friends of Salford Museums’ Association. Please see Contacts page for details of how to apply for membership.
